Summary

This website provides public information about a nonprofit community connectivity initiative. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the site. Network access for enrolled households is a separate relationship and may require additional terms.

Who we are

Connect Buffalo, Inc., doing business as Connect Buffalo, operates this site for public education, program interest, volunteering, fundraising links, and related nonprofit operations. Contact paths are listed on Contact and Get involved.

Informational nature of the site

Content describes pilots, coverage intent, pricing posture, and timelines that can change. Address checks and maps are planning signals, not guarantees of service, speed, or install dates. Always confirm details with staff before relying on a webpage for a critical decision.

Accounts and submissions

When you submit forms, RSVPs, applications, or interest signups, you agree to provide accurate information and to use those channels for their stated purposes. We may refuse, remove, or retain submissions as needed for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

Donations

Online charitable giving is processed by Givebutter or other processors we link to. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you complete a gift. Tax treatment depends on your situation and IRS rules; we publish EIN and filings context on Donate and Transparency.

Intellectual property

Site text, logos, and brand assets are owned by Connect Buffalo or used with permission. You may share links and use press-kit logos under the guidance on Press. Do not imply endorsement without written permission.

Third-party services

The site may link to maps, payment processors, video, documents, or partner sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or policies.

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connect Buffalo disclaims liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from site use. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Acceptable use of the site

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape aggressively, inject malware, harass staff or community members through our forms, or use the site to violate law. Network usage rules for connectivity service are in the AUP.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a revised page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
